The public transport network of the MVV comprises a total of 7 zones.The tariff zone M covers the Munich city area (white background). Around the zone M extend the zones 1 to 6 (colored background).
Our accommodation is located in the tariff zone Ⓜ️
Tickets in the validity area of zone M are sufficient for most visitors (except airport, tickets with zone M - 5 or M - 6 necessary on the day of arrival/departure).

HandyTicket (App) and OnlineTicket (PrintTicket) are available from 2 providers: MVV (tickets for the city area) or S-Bahn (also supraregional tickets such as the Bayern Ticket). The PrintTicket must be printed on A4 and is only valid in conjunction with an official photo ID.

🎟️ Day tickets

 Day tickets are valid for persons 15 years and older and can be used within the selected area of validity for as many trips as you like on one day. The day ticket is valid until 6 a.m. of the following day. Available as single, group or children's ticket (info below).

🎫 Guest cards/tickets

Due to the discounts granted, suitable for guests who want to visit well-known attractions, take city tours or need additional travel information/suggestions. Regardless of the discounts, guest cards are cheaper than (group-) day tickets for stays from 3-4 days or more.


CityTourCard & MünchenCard

not only include a day ticket for the use of all means of public transport (MVV) in the selected area of validity, but also discounts for numerous tourist attractions, tours, shopping and gastronomy partners in Munich and the surrounding area. However, both tickets hardly differ in price and scope of discounts.

Available as a single or group ticket (see below for info). The MünchenCard is also available as a children's ticket.

Munich City Pass

is the all-inclusive ticket for Munich and includes, in addition to the public transport ticket, free admission to 45 top attractions and up to 50% discount at many partners. 

Available as a single, youth or children's ticket. Only available online at Turbopass.com.

➡️ Single tickets

The Single Ticket is for a single trip in the direction of the destination. You are allowed to change and interrupt your trip. Return trips, however, are not permitted. The Single Ticket is ideal for spontaneous journeys. Available as a single or children's ticket (see below for info).

🕑 IsarCard Week

Inexpensive 7-day ticket that can be worthwhile for single travelers from as little as 3 days of stay. For single travelers with children between 6 - 14 years, the IsarCard pays off even from 2 days. Children from 6 to 14 years of age may travel free of charge from 9 a.m. on Mondays to Fridays on weekdays, otherwise around the clock. Proven own children and grandchildren in any number, otherwise a maximum of three in total. The IsarCard Week is valid for seven consecutive days and is transferable to other persons. No group discount.

🧒 Children's tickets

Children under age 6 ride free. Discounted tickets available for children aged 6-14.
Only available as single ticket and always valid for the entire network M - 6.


👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Group tickets

are valid for a group of 2 to 5 people - children between 6 and 14 years old count half.


🏔️ Regional Day Ticket for Bavaria ('Bayern-Ticket')

Day ticket valid on almost all public transport in Bavaria. Up to 3 children between the ages of 6 and under 15 travel free of charge - whether their own or not. Tickets available for 1st and 2nd class. Please note details on area of validity and period of validity:
