ⓘ Tablet Info - Usage & Data Privacy
🚪Please use the tablet only in the room.
✨ The device will be cleaned/disinfected after each stay.
🍪 We also delete your entire surfing history (browsing history, cookies and cache) after each stay. Nevertheless, we recommend that you generally do not enter any sensitive data (such as login information for online banking, etc.). You can also delete your surfing history yourself at any time by clicking on the trash can at the top of the menu bar. Then click on "Start EN" again to access our guest directory.
🔒 The tablet is in kiosk mode. Therefore, it is not possible to open apps other than the browser. In addition, some websites are blocked for security reasons.
🔐 This device is protected with Google Device Protection. That means: Even after a hardware reset, the device cannot be activated without knowing the last used Google password. The location can also be localized via GPS. Theft is therefore not worthwhile.

Please note our house rules
I am AMALA and protect all residents and guests of our house. I also make sure that everyone abides by the house rules 😸
So please remember:
👞 Take your shoes off in the entrance area and leave them on the carpet in the hallway. You are also welcome to take them to your room and put them on the drawer in the wardrobe. We also have slippers for you here (stairs on the ground floor).
🚭 Non-smoking room - smoking only in the covered entrance area or on the balcony. In both cases, please keep the door / window closed.
☾Please keep quiet in the entire accommodation and especially respect the night rest (10 pm - 7 am). Be considerate towards all fellow residents and close the doors quietly (push the door handles down and close them with light pressure)
🛁 Pay attention to cleanliness in the shared bathroom.
💡 Turn off lights when no longer needed (Please do not turn off the night light behind the minibar)
🔒 Close windows when leaving the accommodation
♨️ Turn off heating when airing for longer periods (see heating)
👥 Visitors only with our permission
🐶 Bringing dogs / pets is not allowed

🔑🚗 In case you have parked your car in the yard you will need the key to open the gates. Just put it on the stool inside then and ensure that you close both doors (main entrance and yard gate).

Hot water dispenser & coffee machine
Please contact us (see below) if you have any problems operating the machines. You will find an operating manual below the devices (A4 sheet to pull out).
🌡 Heating
Info on night mode & thermostat settings
☾ From 10 pm our heating automatically switches to a reduced night mode (better sleeping climate + saving energy). During this time the room temperature is lowered by approx. 1-2 °C (depending on the room and outside temperature). Please bear this in mind if you turn off the heating and do not return until later in the evening.

☀ During the day (approx. 6 am - 11 pm) the room temperature should be approx. 20°C (see thermometer on the door frame, not calibrated).

Room with Balcony:
The thermostat must be regulated differently here, especially at low outside temperatures below 8° C:

Unless you generally prefer cooler temperatures, we therefore recommend leaving the thermostat at 5️⃣ all day in the balcony room.

💨 Window - Airing your room
How do I open or tilt the window?
♨️ Please turn off the heating when you air for a long time.
🔒 Please close the window when you leave the accommodation.
🍿 Streaming to the Smart TV
This feature is currently exclusively available in our room with balcony.
If you want to stream content from your own device to the TV, it's easy thanks to Google Chromecast:
1️⃣ Connect your device (smartphone, laptop, etc.) to our Wi-Fi.
Important: After successful registration, a dialog opens - please accept our Wi-Fi terms of use, only then is your device connected to the Internet.
2️⃣ Switch on the TV set.
3️⃣ Open your streaming app (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, Spotify etc.) and select a content.
4️⃣ Click on the cast symbol (usually a simple symbol for a screen) and select the TV set “TV Zimmer Balkon”.
5️⃣ Done. The TV starts playback in a few seconds. Your smartphone remains the remote control - the TV remote control only works to a limited extent when streaming.
📲 Screen mirroring on the Smart TV:
You can mirror your smartphone or laptop directly to the TV to display photos, presentations or other content. You can find instructions on the TV. To do this, press the Home button (house symbol) on the TV remote control and call up the help for screen mirroring.
📺 To return to normal TV mode, press the Home button (house symbol) on the TV remote control, select TV and confirm with OK.
⬛ The TV screen remains black?
Press the ☰ button (to the left of the “0”) on the remote control, select Eingangsquelle → Kabel and confirm with OK.
💬 If it still doesn't work or you have another question, please contact us.
🔒 For security reasons and to protect your private (login) data, many buttons on the remote control and other functions and apps on the Smart TV are locked. Instead, simply use your own device and stream content via Chromecast. This is the only way to ensure that your private data is not stored on the TV set.
🚮 Waste Disposal
Please separate plastic/glass bottles and beverage cartons

Please put them in the paper bag next to the waste bin in your room or let us know. Bottles will be returned or disposed of separately. Thank you
📦 Bulky waste
Cardboard boxes and other packaging can be placed directly in the corresponding waste bins in the courtyard.
Please note the waste separation:
Blue Bin: paper/cardboard (only in clean condition).
Brown Bin: organic waste (e.g. food of all kinds)
Grey Bin: residual waste (everything else that does not belong in the other bins)
👕 Washing & Drying
🕙 Hours of use: 8 am - 10 pm (see details)
In our basement there is a laundry room with 2 washing machines (detergent included), 2 tumble dryers + laundry baskets and a drying room with drying racks + iron.
Please let us know if you want to wash or dry. We will be happy to explain the machines to you.
🕙 Hours of use:
Because of night rest time please enter the basement only from 8 am - 10 pm. If the laundry room door is closed, the machines can continue to run at night, but please do not enter the cellar until the next morning. Thank you
